			RRU's Fourth Annual Ethics ConferenceIn partnership with CPRS Calgary (during CPRS Ethics Week), Mount Royal University, and Royal Roads University Date: February 20, 2024    Time: Noon to 1 PM (PST) / 1 PM - 2 PM (MST)  Join Royal Roads University on February 20 for a panel discussion on the intersection of ethical AI and Professional Communication. The panel will explore essential elements of AI ethics for post-secondary educators, covering topics such as: - what key AI skills are needed in Professional Communication courses to support students entering the workforce,
 - how to avoid AI plagiarism in assignments, and
 - how to create assignments and rubrics that leverage AI skills ethically and professionally.
 
 Join Royal Roads University in envisioning a shared future where we question and imagine how generative AI might play a vital role in shaping sustainable energy systems, safe urban spaces, and well-balanced workforces. The session will be hosted by Dr. Chasten Remillard, Program Head for the MA in Professional Communication and the BA in Professional Communication at Royal Roads University.
